They agree to have a food festival fling, just for the weekend. Cora and Felix stay behind to prepare for the next day.
Later that night Felix’s brother Lawson and Kady leave to grab a beer. She comes up with the idea to have a North Carolina dog they both sell but hers will be vegan. When they turn in their sales Felix asks Cora if she would like to partner up. They both get busy preparing for the day only to have it not be successful. He asks her what she is doing in that truck. When Felix arrives he sees the competition is right next to his so he knocks on their door to find Cora answer. She looks down at the shirt Felix let her borrow and it’s his truck. The next day after they all grab coffee, Cora arrives at her food truck to find her competition right next to her. She doesn’t like he is sleeping on the floor so they sleep in the sleeping bag together. Overnight it rains and Kady leaves, Cora is soaked so Felix offers his tent for her to sleep in. Cora’s friend Kady comes back and they grab their dinner and drinks. They introduce themselves and he tells her he’ll help her with her tent. Felix finds Cora trying to set up her tent at the sight next to him and his brother, Lawson’s. It was a nice, quick, short read.įelix and Cora meet at a food truck competition, they are both rivals.
